Gabriel Hendifar.

The work of Gabriel Hendifar is on another  level altogether.   It was apparent from the dining room shot below, which caught my attention when it caught  fire all over the internets a few weeks back.  The space is brilliant, from the faux stone wall treatment, to the modern rug, to the light fixture and flawless furniture selections.  The room is perfectly balanced and  has an elegant, masculine vibe.  Big Fan.

This chandelier, which is featured in the room above, is by Apparatus,  a collaboration between Hendifar and Jeremy Anderson.   A custom lighting line  made entirely of  vintage, found  and modern components.

Another fixture by Apparatus.   Made from utilitarian materials, the scale and finish make it  perfectly elegant and delicate.  It’s such a gorgeous piece.

I love his  use of color and texture, so sexy. (is that weird?)

You can’t tell me  this room ain’t sexy.

  1. Some wonderful color and texture–sophisticated and masculine. Especially love the hanging metal light fixture. Thank you for the intro to Apparatus! Tucking that into a file:)
